What to expect
The treatment is performed using controlled passes over clean skin. Many people notice a smoother skin texture and an improvement in overall skin appearance afterwards; results and duration vary between individuals.
Dermaplaning does not replace medical treatment for skin conditions. If you have active acne, cold sores, broken skin, or other concerns in the treatment area, we may advise delaying treatment until the skin has settled.
Optional hydromask or serum
For an additional fee, dermaplaning may be complemented with a Hydromask and/or a serum selected for your skin type. Where appropriate, these can be applied during the same appointment.
Product selection and suitability are discussed in advance so that you understand the total cost and expected approach before treatment.
Fees
Typical fees are listed on our fee schedule:
- Dermaplaning: £35
- Hydromask / serum add-on: £25
Final fees are confirmed based on what is agreed prior to your appointment.
Aftercare
Following treatment, the skin may be temporarily more sensitive, particularly to sunlight and certain active skincare ingredients. You will be provided with practical aftercare advice, including sun protection, to support recovery and reduce the likelihood of irritation.
Risks and considerations
All skin procedures carry some level of risk. Common side effects may include temporary redness, sensitivity, or mild irritation. In rare cases, a skin reaction may occur.
